Maximum walking distance on shore excursions is approximately 1.2 miles (1.9 km) and involves walking on rocky boulders or uneven terrain, gentle hiking uphill and getting in and out of tender boats from the ship to shore. This trip is not suitable for scooters or wheelchairs.

Transfers and Meeting up with Olivia
Check-in and Getting to Your Ship
Transfers to the check-in location are not included. More information about check-in time and location for embarkation will be shared approximately 30 days prior to sailing.
During your trip
Electricity
The standard voltage in Australia and aboard the Coral Geographer is 220/250v, 50 Hz AC (standard Australian 3 pin plug). A slanted 2-pin adapter plug will work, however, with the 3rd pin missing, the item will not be grounded. Each stateroom oboard has a universal outlet. For international guests, a limited number of adapters are available on board, but it is recommended to bring your own for use while traveling.
Elevator
Coral Geographer is equipped with an elevator on all accommodation levels.
Gratuities
All gratuities are included. Tipping is not customary in Australia and is completely optional. Should you choose to recognize the service provided onboard, gratuities are payable to the Purser in cash for equal distribution to all crew.
Gym
Enjoy complimentary access to the onboard gym.
Internet & Mobile Phones
While sailing through remote areas, you may not have access to internet/mobile reception through your own provider for extended periods of time. Coral Geographer has state-of-the-art hardware connecting to Starlink and 4G networks, however remote area connectivity is not completely reliable. Internet access is best in public areas and not guaranteed in staterooms due to the steel structure of the ship.
Laundry Services
Basic laundering services are available on board for an extra charge.
Medical Services
There is no clinic or doctor onboard.
Money: On-Board Purchases
At the end of the voyage your onboard account may be settled in cash (Australian dollars) or by Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club or American Express. Travelers Cheques are not accepted.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is permitted only in the designated smoking area. There is a no smoking policy throughout the interior of the ship. There is a total smoking ban when travelling on tender vessels and refueling.
Solos
Solo travelers can mix and mingle with everyone. We often have a few independent travelers on trips of this size. We do not have an official Solos Coordinator or Solos program like on the bigger trips. Before the trip, you can start to meet other solo travelers online by joining Olivia's 2026 Kimberley Coast Adventure Cruise Facebook Group.
After Your Trip
Disembarkation & Transfers to the Airport
We will disembark in Darwin on the morning of Friday, August 14, 2026. Transfers to the airport are not included.
