At Olivia, we are committed to providing amazing vacation experiences for all guests with disabilities and/or specific needs. On every large cruise and resort vacation, we bring Specific Needs Coordinators to assist guests that might need extra support due to medical, mobility or dietary needs. In addition, we are able to provide ASL Interpreters at our nightly shows for deaf guests. If you’re in a 12-step program, Olivia provides a space to meet twice daily with other guests. Guests who are unable to care for their basic daily needs such as dressing, eating, mobility assistance and attending safety drills, must travel on the trip with a capable traveling companion. The ship or resort medical staff and/or Specific Needs Coordinators are not available for daily care.
A special note for wheelchair-bound guests. If you are interested in our smaller international cruises, riverboats, or adventures, please check the Activity Level for the trip of interest or ask an Olivia Travel Consultant whether it’s a match for you. Some of our trips have daily walking tours on uneven streets, or bus excursions without wheelchair lifts or ships without elevators. It’s important that your needs can be accommodated. In general, collapsible wheelchairs can typically be accommodated but please check with us first. If you have a disability and/or specific need, please complete our questionnaire and email it to forms@olivia.com. If you have questions, please email guestservices@olivia.com or call 800.631.6277 or 415.962.5700 and select option 2.
Please note that wheelchair accessible rooms cannot be booked online but our Travel Consultants will be happy to assist you!
