      This trip requires a good level of mobility, as some of the resort is spread out with rooms sometimes being a distance from activities, the main lobby, restaurants, and the beach. Excursions with varying activity levels are offered. If you do have limited mobility, it’s recommended that you travel with someone who can assist you.

       

      For guests who may have difficulty with stairs, please be aware that the resort does not have elevators, so we suggest requesting a ground floor room for easier access and added convenience.

    Payment Plans

    Two payment plan options are available when booking online or through a Travel Consultant:

    1. Olivia Interest-Free Payment Plans: Olivia payment plans must be paid in full six months or 180 days before your trip. If a reservation is made at the six-month mark or less, payment in full will be required unless otherwise noted.

    2. Flex Pay Loans: Need to extend your payments over more time? Apply for a Flex Pay loan!

    Cancellation Policy & Travel Insurance

    Unexpected events can cause you to cancel your vacation. Because we are committed to this charter, we must strictly adhere to our cancellation policy as outlined in our Olivia Terms & Conditions. Transfer funds are nonrefundable and nontransferable from the point of sale forward.

    Olivia recommends that you purchase a travel protection plan to help protect you and your trip investment against the unexpected.       Cancellation Penalty: 50% of trip cost

      The islands of the Caribbean are home to many LGBTQ-friendly countries and the Turks and Caicos Islands are considered a safe destination for LGBTQ+ tourists.

      Climate

      In May,  Providenciales generally has high temperatures with maximum daytime temperatures around 82°F/28°C, minimum nighttime temperatures around 77°F/25°C and moderate monthly rainfall. On average, May is a perfect month for travelers to visit Turks and Caicos.  

      Currency

      The US dollar is accepted in Turks and Caicos.

      Languages

      The official language of Turks and Caicos is English.

      If you will have a birthday or celebration during your vacation and have not already informed us, please let us know as soon as possible, but no less than 90 days prior to the trip.

      Passports and Visas

      Guests must have a passport valid for six months after their arrival date. A visa is not required for U.S. travelers. All other travelers should check with their local consulate to determine what travel documents are required. d.

      Specific Needs: Dietary, Medical, Mobility and Other

      If you have any medical, mobility needs, or specific dietary requirements that you have not already advised your travel consultant, please advise us of this information as soon as possible but no less than 90 days prior to the trip.

      Vaccinations

      Please check with your local Public Health Department or personal physician regarding immunization requirements you may need. You may also check the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s website at: www.cdc.gov. Click on the Travelers’ Health section, then click on the Destinations Link and choose your destination in the “For Travelers” pull-down menu.

    • Travel and Arrival

      Air Travel

      Airports: You will need to fly into and out of Providenciales International Airport (PLS) which is located approximately 20–25 minutes from the resort. 

      Airfare Discounts: Save up to 15% on your airfare through our partner airlines. Airfare discount codes will be available approximately 11 months prior to the departure date. Check back here for details.

      Check-In 

      Official check-in is after 4 pm. If you arrive early, you can store your luggage and enjoy the resort until your room is available. Upon arrival, you will be asked to provide your credit card to open a resort account. With a resort account, you can bill services and purchases to your room during your stay. 

      Luggage Allowances 

      While there is no luggage limit at the resort, airlines often restrict (or charge) for excess baggage. Because each airline is different, and the regulations change over time, please check with your airline for baggage allowances. 

      Pre or Post Stays 

      Pre- and post-nights are based on availability. Ask your Travel Consultant for more information. 

      Transfers and Meeting Up with Olivia 

      Your round-trip transfers to and from Providenciales (PLS) airport are included on arrival and departure days. If you purchase pre- or post-nights through Olivia, your transfers will be included on your arrival and departure days according to your flight times. We will request your flight information approximately 90 days in advance of the trip to ensure you receive your transfer. Alternatively, you can visit your Olivia Travel Profile and enter your flight information at any time.  

    • During Your Trip

      Electricity 

      The rooms are equipped with standard US 110-volt outlets. 

      Excursions 

      The resort offers a wide array of excursion options available at an extra charge. Offerings include sunset cruises, island tours, and more. A list of excursions will be available approximately 30 days prior to the trip. Bookings take place at the resort. 

      Gratuities 

      Gratuities to resort staff are included in the cost of the trip. 

      Hair Dryers 

      There is a hair dryer in your room. If you prefer a stronger wattage, we encourage you to bring your own. 

      Internet 

      Basic wifi is included and is available throughout the resort. Premium wifi can be purchased for a fee. 

      Laundry Services 

      Laundry services are available for an additional charge. 

      Medical Services 

      There is an infirmary at the resort. There is an extra cost for medical attention. 

      Smoking Policy 

      As per the new Tobacco Control Law by Turks and Caicos Islands authorities, smoking (both cigarettes and e-cigarettes) in Club Med Turkoise is strictly prohibited. For your convenience, there are two designated smoking areas in the resort. 

      Spa Services 

      Indulge and relax at the resort’s spa. Traditional massages and spa packages are available for an extra charge.  

      Telephone 

      Each room has a tablet that is used as a phone to call between rooms or to call the reception desk. There is a cost to call outside the resort. Most guests use their cell phones and use wifi calling services such as FaceTime Audio and WhatsApp.
