Four Completely Logical Reasons to Avoid the Best Vacation of Your Life
by Jenny Block
People are always going on and on about why you should do this and why you should do that. Well, don’t worry. This is not going to be one of those blogs, because this blog is about the four reasons you should definitely NOT travel with Olivia.

1. You should definitely not travel with Olivia is you don’t like meeting tons of people you have a lot in common with. I mean that’s the worst, right? Who wants to meet people who like to travel like you? Why on Earth would you want to spend a bunch of time with people who look at the world like you do and who want to do the same activities? I mean how annoying to have to keep saying, “Oh my God! Me too!” all week long.
2. You also do not want to travel with Olivia because you’ll be in the majority your whole entire time onboard or at the resort. Come on, ew. Who needs that? Vacationing in the patriarchy rules! What are you going to do on this trip any way, feel safe and relaxed? Are you kidding me? Vacations are for dealing with unwanted advances and feeling uncomfortable in your own skin, am I right?

3. Why travel with Olivia? I mean you already have enough lesbian and lgbtq+ friends. Who needs more? Friend counts need limits and you’re at yours. What are you going to do with more like-minded people on your side? Having a life full of people who like what you like, who think like you think, who enjoy the same things you do, ugh, how excessive.
4. You don’t want to see the world centered around women. Women are smart and fun and organized. Women like to work together and get stuff done. Women like to share ideas and to connect and to help one another. That all sounds so dreamy. Vacations shouldn’t be dreamy. They should be work. You should always need a vacation in order to recover from your vacation.
Long live the struggle!
