Kate Winter
As a founding member of the Olivia collective, Kate took on the role of graphic designer/art director. Kate designed most of the album covers and so much more for Olivia Records through 1980, projects including the original logo, the first iconic poster announcing Olivia Records, album graphics for I Know You Know, The Changer and the Changed, Lesbian Concentrate, and others by artists Teresa Trull, Linda Tillery, Mary Watkins, Pat Parker, and Judy Grahn. After leaving Olivia in 1981, she continued her work in graphic design and print production for a Boston publishing company. Now retired, she lives in Sonoma County CA with her partner Liz Brown, another long-time member of the Olivia Records collective.
