Part of me hopes that mine won't work.  It would be nice to not have my work blackberry work at all so it was a true vacation.  But knowing my luck - it will work. 

It depends on your carrier and if you have international service in your plan.  We have T-Mobile and we were able to get cell phone service on the ship and the island while we were in port and a couple of times while we were at sea.  I would check with your cell phone service provider.
