hi everyone I have won the cruise for 2 on the March trip. I am solo and possibly looking for someone who is interested in sharing the room.  I have a couple of people to ask here @ home, but thought I would give heads up for anyone who might be interested. The cost is inexpensive, the taxes, tips and fees. Must book by Dec 8th 5pm pst 

I solo-d on the last cruise and thought I would be MIS-ER-AB-LE. I now don't think I would EVER want to go on one of these things as a couple. I actually went with a couple of friends (a couple) and "lost" them for the first two days. That turned out to be the best thing that could happen to me. I met so many people whilst wandering around looking for them.

 By day 3, we had a growing "crew". We closed the club every night and partied on the deck until almost sunrise. Trust me...you won't be alone.

 My advice - just talk to people...on the elevators, at dinner, at the pool. You'll be surprised. Most people will at least chat for a minute. I actually ended up becoming good friends with people that I just randomly met on the elevators. Once people start meeting each other, they start networking very quickly and the next thing you know, your 'new' friends will be introducing you to their 'new' friends.

Hola again everyone! Although I am not traveling solo....I have friends coming along with us on this cruise and they are SINGLE and ready to MINGLE! ~clearing throat~ where is my best friend Tee when I need her.

Ok seriously, those of you new to the SOLO aspect of cruising, get ready to have a blast! Again...LOL although I have NEVER done an Olivia cruise as a solo person, I have gone on Olivia cruises with friends and ~clearing throat again~ escorted them to solo events. Ladies...prepare yourself! Youre about to meet some of the most amazing women youve ever had the pleasure to engage with! Relax and have fun......

I am seriously considering making this my first cruise with Olivia. And I'll be solo. My question for the other solo people is what are the better rooms to book if I am going to be by myself? And is there any other way of doing it than paying double the listed price?

 I'm single and going solo - and it's my first Olivia cruise - I'm looking forward to having the time of my life - meeting lots of women (coupled and single) and doing what ever feels right at the time. Hope to meet you during the week!

I am Ellen and traveling solo   This will be my 3rd trip as a solo and my 14th Olivia trip.  Olivia treats the solos very well.  You can do as much or as little as you like with the solos group.  I thought I would hate the dog tags.  However, I discovered I wear it with pride plus its a great chain to also carry your room key on!  Yes, the dog tag does id you as a solo to other solos as well as couples.  There will be some excursions for solos also.  This is a great way to meet other solos.  On the first full day, there will be a get to know each other meeting for solos...silly ice breakers but it helps.

could know who is traveling solo? If so I'll be wearing 2 or 3 ladiez, lol.

Hi TzATease--I'm going solo, too.  I was told there are daily solo activities, tables reserved at meals for solos, etc--Olivia seems to make the solo experience a good one!
