Future newlyweds... we are Laura and Karla from Irvine, CA and were married 08/08/08. I hope you do not mind if I am off topic - kind of - but we married folks have a vested interest in Prop 8 and ... I am trying to get the word out about these free No on Prop 8 t-shirt irons that were made by a designer friend of ours who wants to share it with as many people as possible. If you do not know, Prop 8 is the ballot initiative in CA that will overturn the Supreme Courts ruling that made same sex marriage legal...  So it is a BIG deal!   So I have been posting the link to the website so people can download the iron on transfers... then you have to buy the transfer paper (we got it at target) and a plain white tee...  It would be great to see folks wearing the t-shirts on board... but also after the cruise of course. If there is someway we can get the word out ...  that would be great. Anyone is welcome to email me at laurakanter@mac.com

Hello Ladies !!!  Just wanted to say congradulations and that I am soooo happy to see so many other couples getting married. We are looking forward to meeting everyone and enjoying every second of our "Honeymoon". Gina and I are also arriving on the 2nd at the Hard Rock Hotel.

Hello Everyone,

 My soon to be wife (Karina) and I (Amy) will be joining you in the ceremony at the Hard Rock.  We will be arriving from Miami, FL on Wednesday October 1st.  We are really excited and proud to be sharing our special moment with all of you.

We live in the DC area (in the process of relocating from Florida).  Looks like you are not too far from us.  We get in on Friday around noon.  Would love to get together if you want.  Or we could try to have dinner in Williamsburg one night.  I want to get Susan down that way before too much time passes!

Hello fellow travelers,

Maggie and I are joining in the cermony.  We live on the east coast and are flying in on Thursday around mid day.  Are other coming early?  We will be at the Hard Rock for 2 nights and would love to get to know others before we all se sail.

Congrats to everyone who is participating in the Olivia-sponsored ceremony & reception. If we choose to get married while in CA (still determining the legal ramifications since we do not live in CA), we're going to do so in Laguna Hills on Friday since we have friends who live near there. We'll look for all the happy honeymooners on board, however. Since we call each other "bunny," we're looking forward to our bunnymoon if that's what we end up deciding.

My partner and I are participating in the wedding ceremony in San Diego at the Hard Rock and we have an appointment to get the license at the court on Friday afternoon  but since the wedding is at the Hard Rock Cafe later that night we were wondering who will be filing the paper work for us? They told us at the court house that the person performing the wedding usually files the paper work. Does anyone know how this will work for all of us who participate in the ceremony?

Hi.  We just got married in Palos Verdes, CA on July 13th, but we will be attending the party at the Hard Rock for fun.....See you there!!!  Cheryl and Illy

Hi All:

Has anyone else had difficulty in getting extra tickets for the reception at the Hard Rock?  I called, and the person at Hard Rock told me that they were only available at the door, according to the Olivia website they are available for $30 in advance, and to call the Hard Rock to purchase.  My friends and family want to attend but they would like to get the tickets ahead of time. Any thoughts/suggestions?
