The cable station Ovation has been playing a series called "Paris" about visiting Paris. It is hosted by a very cute gal who studied at the Louvre. She said if you look at every item in the Louvre 3 seconds it would take 5 months to view everything.

It is a great show (especially the one on chocolate). You should check it out during the last two weeks before we depart.

We just extended out trip so we can see Gay Pride. It should be crazy with 800,000 parade watchers.

BTW--Buy your Louvre ticket online now. There will be lines to get into everything during the pride weekend. You can also book tickets for the Eiffel Tower if you know the time you want to go. The lines can be several hours long according to the website.
