No problem for us, we weren't going to spend the money on the Olivia pre-cruise party anyway. 

For those who don't know...there are a bunch of us staying at the SpringHill Suites Airport/Cruiseport and we're planning our own pre-cruise party there the night before the cruise.  Check out the "Host Hotel?" discussion on the message boards for more info.

Hello! Just for the record, I was told that there will be NO host party for this particular cruise. ( by Olivia )

Not sure if that changes where you want to book your hotel, but I wanted to let you know!

1. I would suggest pruchasing tickets now.  Prices are rising. March is High Tourist time in FLorida.

2."host" hotel  will probably be announced soon.Host hotels are usually 4 or 5 star places with matching prices.  So, you may want to explore previous discussion boards for Olivia trips leaving from Ft. Lauderdale and see other placees to stay also.

3. We usually hear about "theme " parties about 6 weeks out. 

4. Entertainment: looks like we already have great comedians: Kate Clinton and Rene Hicks.

4.  Unfortunately, it is not March yet...but it is getting closer.

We just booked our flight with Delta and US Air, tickets are really pricey.  But we need them, total was $896 for both plane tickets, I guess not that bad.  Oh, they are also round trip.
 

I have a question, this will be our first cruise ever, what is a "host" hotel???

We will be here to count the days down and get to know everyone.  Talk to you all later!

1. Watch for a bit on the tickets... they change frequently...and grab'em!  You can have daily updates from some of the airlines.  We waited on the San Diego trip until @ 2 mos. before, and the price went up, then went waaaay down... and we grabbed them.

2. The host hotel is listed @ 3-4 mos. before, if we remember correctly.  Then you can book the room with the Olivia discount.

3. Last minute on the theme announcements... hate that.

4. It depends on who they book.  The usual entertainment is listed early, but the "surprise" guest entertainers can be up until last minute too. 

5.  UNFORTUNATELY NO!

We were wondering about the host hotel and theme parties as well...

 My guess on the entertainment...Leisha's band Uh Huh Her, if she does well in Seattle.

1.  Would it be wise to purchase tickets now?  Or wait.

2.  When will we find out what the "host" hotel is?

3.  When will we find out what sort of theme parties will be held?

4.  When will they announce who the entertainment is?
