Hmmm wine & narcotics. I havent said much on this forum,but i will say this:

WOW... so much to worry about....  Alana, with her booze and recreational drugs....Shannon, with sending her kid off to play/sleep with wild dogs.... people up in the air about the entertainment.....   My head is spinning.  We all need a VACATION!!!

Hmmm...coyotes you say eh? You know I often threaten my 4.5 year old with having to sleep outside with the coyotes if she isn't good so I doubt that she'll want to stop on the way to SA.  Now I'll just threaten that I'll send her to your house when my threats don't work .  Although she does love Willy Wonka, but you said that there was no chocolate (which is OK cuz she really only eats M&M's anyways) so as long as you have the movie and not the chocolate she'll be OK!  But....I don't remember if you said that you liked kids or not so maybe we should just drop them off in SA anyways and drive back up for the evening.  It'll probably be more fun with the wine and condiments without the chitlins anyways eh?

 As for Vickie Shaw...Sharrie was watching it last night when I came back upstairs from checking on our airfare (that's right...we still haven't booked our plane yet, but hey...I like to live on the edge....what can I say?) and I only caught the last part of it and all we can say is that Vickie is "High-Larry-Us"  and we're going to have a ball!

 Shannon...imagining the AA craziness and wondering if her cats are like our cats and like to try to knock the pictures off of the wall on to her head in the morning when they don't get their food in time???

I watched that Logo special too...I think it was called "Late in Life Lesbians".  I've seen it before since Logo tends to re-run a lot of their specials but I just love watching the segments with Vickie Shaw...she cracks me up!

(I have been awake since 3:15 am when the coyotes surrounded our house and howled uproriously and our window was open (still warm in Austin) and the puppy jumped on my face and refused to go back to sleep or leave the premises of my HEAD) and the cats climbed the walls while the other dog tried to scare them with her vicious Pomeranian bark...I wish I was kidding. My life is a sitcom. Did I mention my car alarm went off an hour later for no reason? Perhaps it was a coyote car attack.

And I had no wine before dinner, dont even think it

No narcotics either, mind you. huh uh...

This IS our life.

Anyhoo, our doors are always open to new friends and old...(as IF you'd want to visit now) but you'll have to come in preapproved shifts with my "crew" from Dallas who visit almost monthly. And, yes, we will go play at Alex's food facility that is like Willy Wonka's chocolate factory without the chocolate but with copious amounts of condiments.  Not nearly as fun but less calories. We joke that we run a free bed and breakfast at times.

Now back to entertainment: Vickie Shaw was on Logo over the weekend. Anyone see it? A whole segment on her life...very interesting and sweet.

Now I best get some rest at my desk.

Hey...maybe you can auction off some of our designer T-shirts to those who haven't joined us here...eh...Alana?  That way you can see if that may be a P/T career you might like to pursue?  Just some food for thought for you...although...I told Sharrie, my other 1/2...about you and Alex and we both are intrigued with the whole food/cooking idea and may just have to stop down since Austin is on the way to San Antonio one of these days/trips

Ok, so I'm 50 and I came out with the aid of Olivia Records. For those of you that are older-Who can forget Meg and Chris. I still have their music on "vinyl"(that's a fancy way of saying I still have some of their records). Hell, I've have Kate Clinton on "vinyl" and can't wait to see her on the cruise-Her bit on "de-dykeing the apartment" or having a mammagram are still hilarious. I have thought about it and I guess I am choosing to see the glass 1/2 full. I'm supporting an industry that supported me. It will be an honor for me to be on a cruise with all of you. I also know that thirty years ago I gave up a teaching job because if I didn't they were going to fire me using a morals clause. I just thank God that I even have an opportunity to go on this all Womens cruise- and an opportunity to meet all of you.

I am SO looking forward to this cruise and have absolutely no problem with those who won it or got a 2-for-1.  Without the rest of us, there would be no cruise!  Being in the company of all you fabulous women, and free to be myself with my honey - priceless!

Which is even funnier because I have a very distinctive Southern drawl to go along with it. (I hate that about myself but I know it's there and always will be so I own it)

So I'll understand everything you say and we can keep right up with each other in conversation. However, Alex will be saying "What?  What?" as I often need to slow it down a notch for my girl.

Much like typing, I talk faster than I think too. (LMAO) but somehow I manage.

I really think an auctioneer is my calling but that just seems way too boring of a job.

okay back to deep cleaning the house...sigh...I'm procrastinating...

 

See Alana maybe that is my problem....ACCURATE typing at slower speeds...well my speed is quite slow, but my brain needs to slow down because I think WAAAAAAAAAAAY faster than I type.  So, my speed can't really slow down because my brain won't slow down and therefore my posts may not always make sense because my brain is on another topic while my fingers are still trying to type the last topic!

Shannon...wondering if Alana could even understand my dictation because most everyone I know can hardly keep up with me when I try to talk to them because I talk so fast!

The problem is I dont think I think as fast as I type so, unless I proof read (which you might could tell I dont do much of) I tend to be aghast if I re-read my posts. So fast typing isn't always a GOOD thing.  LOL...or maybe I just need a better brain.  ACCURATE typing at slower speeds really is a better skill in the long run.

 

You dictate what you need me to type and I will whip it up for ya anytime, girl. You'll just have to proof it.

Good points Artist Me my GF and friends will have a great time no matter what these message boards are saying and I hope everyone who reads them will as well!!! (Can you tell I am not much of a typer Ms 100wpm) lol Coulda used that typing speed in grad school woman!
